Job Description

The Waiter’s primary responsibility is to provide friendly, attentive and timely service to ensure that all Meat The Fish guests experience exceeds their expectations. They must maintain an overall smooth operation.

·        Complete all checklists required during the shift

·        Carry out all duties as directed by the Shop manager and/or FOH Team leader

·        Prepare the restaurant for service (cleaning, polishing, tabletop preparations, all other set-up tasks)

·        Responsible of serving guests (taking the order, delivering food, beverages, etc.) in a timely manner

·        Keep updated on menu ingredients, food preparations and special diet requirements

·        Ensure that established FOH controls and procedures are always being complied with

·        Monitor the cleanliness and set up of the dining area and make sure the orderly appearance of side stations is maintained throughout the service period

·        Apply Meat The Fish’s opening and closing procedures as per the checklists

·        Inspect tables for proper set up and cleanliness

·        Stay updated on daily reservations

·        Keep management promptly and fully informed of any dine-in and retail service/internal operational issues
