Job Description
The Runner’s primary objective is to assist the Waiter throughout service as directed. They are responsible for ensuring proper set-up of the FOH area for smooth operations and overall cleanliness.
· Assist the Waiter in completing daily opening and closing duties
· Perform side work at the beginning and end of each shift as required, including outlet clean up and set up, glass and chinaware polishing
· Empty ashtrays, refill empty glassware, remove soiled wares and clean tables promptly to ensure guest comfort
· Deliver food from kitchen to the guest
· Clear and reset tables immediately after guest departure
· Effectively communicate with service staff and provide functional assistance
· Ensure limited crockery damage and report any breakages to the Shop manager
· Ensure that the dining and retail areas always meet hygiene standards (including floor, chairs, tables, etc.)
