In 1986, Mr. Jean Claude Boucher passed on the secret sauce of Geneva, Switzerland origin, L’Entrecôte Café de Paris, to Mr. Joseph Khalife, along with his restaurant L’Entrecôte Café de Paris, Bourse 18 Rue Feydeau, Paris which was established in the late 1950s.

Mr. Joseph Khalife expanded the business by opening other ”L’Entrecôte Café de Paris” restaurants throughout France:
o Champs-Elysées 44 Rue de Ponthieu, Paris
o Marais 80 Rue François Miron, Paris
o La Croisette 13 Rue des Serbes, Cannes

In 2015, the legacy of the sauce secret recipe was handed over to Mr. Richard Khalife Mr. Joseph Khalife’s nephew.

In summer 2019, Richard Khalife launched the first innovative project La Baguette de L’Entrecôte in Gemmayzeh, Beirut, Lebanon. A new concept turning the traditional Entrecôte dining experience into a more futuristic, casual, reachable and fun experience.

Now the branch was franchised to expend across the country.
