Souk El Tayeb is hiring! SET is looking for a full-time Tawlet and Beit Douma Chef Responsible for Managing Tawlet and Beit Kitchen operation.
a. Kitchen organization: Prepares/reviews daily kitchen staff and cooks dispatch and supports Managers in weekly schedule preparation according to planned production Review menus with the Manager and amend them as needed Plans staff meals weekly (quantity) in coordination with Tawlet and Operations Managers Follows up closely on kitchen team performance and efficiency Prepares required forms for cost control: consumption or Tawlet Buffet consumption, Staff meal.
b. Food Production / Orders / Menu Planning: Develop menus and recipes, in collaboration with the Operations Manager Amend recipes as needed and when needed Organizes food production Sends daily Production Sheet to Cost Controller Monitor orders, production, and food waste (fills WASTE sheet Daily) Reports and corrects any discrepancy regarding quantities and orders Make food orders and get approval from the Manager/Purchasing In case of transfers needed, signs on Transfer Sheets Collaborates with Purchasing Manager regarding suppliers’ selection and ingredients quality
c. Quality Control Ensure food quality control by regular tasting and spot checks Ensure that all hygiene rules and regulations are well implemented, including storage, expiry dates… Train new cooks on QA rules and regulations Monitor adequate storage of received raw material; perform spot checks on fridges and stocks Coordinate with the respective outlet/department managers to implement corrective actions as needed Daily check and sign invoices regarding all food items received; ensuring that quality standards are met Interested Candidates, kindly send your Resume to Cvs@soukeltayeb.com
